Delivery Costs

Hi

Im trying to get a feel for current delivery costs and am interested to know what you guys have paid for/charge for proffesional deliveries.

There seems to be a huge variance in costs so I will be greatful for any feedback. It would also help to know the type and size of the vessel concerned.

I thought we did but it seems as if we are a little out of date and doing things for nothing, Honestly!!

Last time I got my boat delivered a few months back, I was charged €265/day for the skipper and €185/day for a mate

Its interesting now that skippers and crew are charging by the day not by the mile, I think it must cost more by the day compared to a rate of say €3.00 per mile all in. Was this a long passage?

Palma to Barcelona about 130nm I think so I was charged just over €3/nm

Guess it covers the skipper for weather delays/shorter passages if he is on a daily rate not a fixed cost per mile.
