Dekpa once a year stamp?

We got some more stamps the other day. An old school fella, it would seem, who felt the need to stamp some paperwork.

What new , this is Greece after all :)
I have to admit I am one of them people some complain about on the forums , in all the years I have sailed in Greece I only go and get a stamp if I am called in or should I say dragged in , the reason for this is when I first arrived many years a go , I obeyed the rules and tried hard to get it stamp , but in the end I got so fed up with being turned away that I stopped my latest DEKPA is four years old and it has seven stamps , the last one in Corfu this year , not sure why but this time she only stamp it once where as a rule it was in and out , and then told , no need to get it done again for another year .

Cardo you ask the question on another thread about checking out , we never checked in or out , we never had a problem when we returned and when every asked why we got so little stamp I quite honest about it and tell them I just got back to Greece from where ever . Never as any one question it , just had to pay the arrival fee .

We checked in corfu and were told only to stamp it on checkout of Greece? Love this backsolving of Greek procedures

I think 1 in the top left but can't remember really other than thinking it's a bit silly to have a ton of empty spaces and no need to stamp them

Am reminded of Harpo Marx - was it in Duck Soup where he went berserk with the date stamp at the immigration desk?

I had this on our DEKPA. One single "in" stamp at Corfu. Most PP elsewhere didn't have a problem with it, but a couple did question why we hadn't stamped out of Corfu. Nothing to do but shrug and say "sorry".

I always tell them the law has changed, but it makes no difference. In the words of the Patras PP; "I'm the law around here".

(He must have watched too many B-movie westerns in all that idle time).

That's probably the answer. Let's get a few stamps made up so when we meet up we can stamp each other's DEKPA's. We've been here 12 years and only have six stamps. Last one was Egina 2010. No interest in stamps, just the 5 euro notes across the table and a scratty receipt with the change. I've formed the view that there's no point in poking the port police with work related issues. If they want you, they'll find you. Otherwise leave them in peace. (although they do seem to have some gorgeous girls working for them these days)

Hi Sailybout.
Currently in Missilonghi waiting for spare parts for our engines. Assuming the weather clears and our engine is fixed we plan to be around Lefkas next weekend. Still getting used to the change of scenery.
I'll pm you towards the weekend and meet you for a beer

We got some very strange looking blue PP stamps from a dude in jeans and tee shirt two days ago for nothing more than a harbour dues receipt from a very small Peloponese port.

Right about the "Babes in Blue Dungarees toting guns" though!

Anybody up for organising a "Greek PP Calendar Girls". Sexy babes in GCC gear....guns, rubber stamps and the boots!
