Hi
Has anyone here dropped the rudder out of a Dehler 34? Mine seems to get stuck in the lower bearing on the key on the stock. I can't see a way to take the key off. Any advice -relevent advice :) - very welcome :)

My Dealer 31 lower bearing was so tight the only way to drop the rudder was to chisel out the bearing. It took about 1\2 an hour with a small wood chisel.

It's while since I had my two D34's, but I'm pretty sure that the key is just wedged into the slot & can be levered out with a screwdriver.

The key on my D35CWS is certainly just wedged in place, although the stock is s/steel not alloy.

You may scratch the surface, so apply the leverage at the end rather than the sides, so any scratches won't alter the width of the key.

Hope this helps.
