Anchored near Kirton Creek for the last couple of days we saw a motor cruiser going up & down the river several times, pouring out absolutely unbelievable amounts of smoke. Unfortunately, the first time we saw it I was so shocked (& also concerned that it was actually on fire) that I didn’t think to try to photograph it. The other times it was too far away - turning round at The Rocks each time & returning upriver.
When we returned to Woodbridge today we saw that, without exception, every boat along the eastern side of the Waldringfield fairway, as well as all those in Methersgate reach downriver of where said motor cruiser is moored, looked like those in the attached photos.
Of course, this may just be a coincidence but I photographed the boat and crew as I passed them & if anyone wants to ID them please pm me.
