I want to seal the gap between the deck and the cabin and hatch coamings (all wood).
I suspect a bit of flexibility is a necessity here and I also want to be able to form a bit of a fillet. I have to admit being confused by polysulfides, polyurethane, silicone etc. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I intend putting a harwood moulding over this afterwards. Same sealant?

And what about bedding down the toerails and the rubbing strakes?

Suggestions will be appreciated.

Or if you want a cheap oil based mastic that lasts really well & stays soft use EVO Mastic.
Dont use silicone rubber if you are going to paint or varnish round it or if you dont want it to leak!

Sikaflex 252 is both a flexible sealant and an adhesive. Just used it on camper van, and very pleased with it. Ebay supplier, £20 including postage.
