Deck shoes.

I've been eyeing up my son's tennis shoes, lately, with boating requirements in mind.

They are comfy.

They are supportive.

They have a non-slip flat sole.

They are non-marking.

They are a fraction of the price of similar-looking "boating" shoes.

My deck shoes' soles are rock hard and slippy, not grippy. They are going into the Sally Army bin.

Anyone for tennis?

I've been told Squash shoes are a good alternative as well.
