£4.99 at some local shoe place (may even have been Waterlooville Market). Might bin then this year as one of the heels has lost part of the sole and lets even more water in/out. Otherwise they have put up with locksides, beaches, riverbed, tramping round London, garden use at home, have the traditional a/f paint splats and lasted since Summer 2004. Not very smart anymore though
Deck shoes? first thing I do once I get to the boat is kick me shoes off and try not wear them at all, I suppose the crew might need them though /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
First pair i bought about 7 years ago were Hush Puppies. though in those days i didnt boat that much.
used every time i boated for about three years...which was most weekends in the season.
still have them on board now. only used for washing down and scruffy things as they are showing their age. one re-stitch on the sole by the local cobbler.
very good value.
find the cheaper ones have dye run when washing down the boat
feet a nice shade for a while
