I need to reseal where the chimney of our charcoal stove passes through the GRP deck. The seal is between the GRP and a wooden (teak?) fitting that the chimney passes through, and also between the wooden fitting and stainless steel chimney flange.

Can anyone offer suggestions/advice about a suitable sealant? Needs to cope with a bit of flex (with temperature changes and different materials), and fairly high temperatures when the stove is in use.

Regular silicone gasket cement will do nicely. That's what's used to seal badly fitting exhaust pipes on motorbikes.I used it on my Triumph Trident and those ports became really hot.

I use black Plumba on both my stove collar and my gas flue. So far so good.

The temp of the stove flue at eye level doesn't exceed 250C, so will be well within the limits of Plumba at collar height.
