Had a Turchese for six years, it was our first boat and loved her. sailed round Poole, she was great in the chop, didn’t like swell but that is probably more boat size than hull design. In the right conditions we travelled to Luworth cove and Cowes. The U seating and sun pad we found very flexible, swim platform was a bit to narrow If you want to sit on to dip your toes in the water. Engine wise I would be influenced by condition and fuel availability first, friends had diesel used less fuel, service cost more and quite a bit slower. We had the 5.7l very smooth, quick acceleration, good cruising speed. Fuel wise in a year did around 60 hours and about £1000. To help costs had 3 Jerry cans and supermarket fuel!
i would have another if going back down in size (we moved from 24 to 35) but condition, condition and condition Of boat would be my deciding factor as boating is about being on the water and not in the engine bay on those few glorious days. Good luck in whatever you choose.
