I'm looking for a decent slipway with good access and somewhere to store the trailer for a couple of days. I'll be coming upriver from St.Kat's over the Bank Holiday then taking the old girl back to South Ferriby on the Humber.

I'm looking at either Nicholes or chambers boatyards. I'm not able to get down and check them out so any advise from the forumites in the area would be much appreciated /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

i get the train over the river every day and there's a boat yard on the right by the bridge, no idea what the name is though i'm afraid... don't suppose that was of any help really!!

There is one near shepperton marina, you have to go through one lock but its cheap and chearful so i have heard?!! there is also one at Bridge marine near Walton Bridge.

I think that's Tecmarine, lots of interesting old boats but no slipway.

I've booked it with Penton Hook marina now, but many thaks to all those who responded. Just hope the weather is OK as SWMBO will be "assisting".

How much do they charge for trailer/car storage for a couple of days?

I am thinking of spending a week cruising the Thames and need a place to launch and stroe car/trailer.
