Decent Restaurant in Cowes

As a visiting yachtsman no reason why you should not eat at the Island SC. Best views from the dining room of anywhere else on the Solent. suggest you give them a ring.

And very good food if I may add, plus as you say best view around ...

I eat out in Cowes about once a week. Coast is by far the best food and the best service.

+1. Great food and atmosphere. Now the only place close to the centre.

On the other hand, as a resident I would venture to say that there are great restaurants in Cowes.

If you want a truly stunning meal at great prices then take a short taxi, or long walk to Gurnrard. The Little Gloster is IMHO by far the best restaurant on the island and actually one of my all time favourites anywhere.

Great food, service, wine and view of the sunset over the sea, particularly at this time of year.

Corrie's fish & chip place in the high street is usually good, with eat-in as well as takeaway options; as is the place in East Cowes on the right as one walks from East Cowes Marina to the chain ferry, for take-away.
