Credit where credit is due. I've just done yet another tiling job with one of Aldi's dirt cheap diamond cutter blades, 4 1/2 inch, 3 different types in a pack for about four quid. I've only used the smooth rimmed one which works a treat on the hardest of tiles done loads with it and it's still going strong. I've not found Aldi's tools to be generally good quality but the blades have been excellent, they aren't for sale at the moment but I would recommend them to anyone and they will probably cut GRP pretty well too.

A few hundred, not many, but the last tiles were more like glass than terracotta. The blade seems as good as new.
