December ECF meet at The Waggon and Horses

Hello! We're quite new to boating+the forums but would like to come and introduce ourselves. We will be three adults and two children aged 11 and 12, unless the children aren't welcome, in which case it will be two adults.

You'll find the welcome at my pub works pretty much the way the East Coast Forum works, for adults and children alike. Even animals, you'll all be welcomed by the finest sailors you could hope to meet

You might as well put in an appearance anyway, my sniffer hasn't given much in the way of respite for some time but it cheers me up when others come in and enjoy an evening. Plus there's some bloke dressed in red with an overgrown set of whiskers going to pop in sometime. Boy that man ate a few pies

How would you feel about somebody coming in and being miserable for the evening? :D ('cos right now I can do miserable dead easy, enjoyment might be a stretch)

Trust me, I feel rougher than a rough thing on a rough day in the middle of roughsville, but there's one thing the ECF does well, they cheer up the roughest of the rough. If anyone says I'm wearing rouge though I am so going to flumpht them
Bed now, at last, see you later and bring your smiley face, snotty or not

Hope to see those that couldn't make it, some time in the future, and thank you to Clive for organising a very enjoyable and social evening. At long last, the bar is closed. Unfortunately I got the late shift and had to take care of others too. Good to meet one and all

Could not attend for reasons stated before but we are spending a week on the boat over late Christmas and the New Year so we will be visiting you for lunch on one of the days

See you then

May
Xx
