I was sat looking out of the starboard window earlier, well, just before it got dark, and noticed the river looked like it was running very fast. Usually it's an optical illusion caused by the wind, but I was curious so I threw a little bit of paper in...

Holy crap, does the tide run quick here!

At the end of the ferry moorings. The last one up river.

This weather needs to start getting better, and I need to sort the boat out, or maybe it's me, but the lack of progress is getting to me.

I tell you, I have admiration for anybody who's done this because it's hard work. Not the sailing, that bit is easy, it's the motivation to get back out to sea, and break away from the hospitality. To leave to comfort zone of knowing there's a CPD nearby for advice or a fullcircle, to name but a couple. There's a never ending string of problems to solve and it seems to never stop.

You know, I wrote recently, in response to malaprop I believe, that I would have done this regardless of the help I've had, but in hindsight, I don't thin I could have got even as far as I have without you lot.

So I guess my first born is going to be called Alan Jim David Peter Simon Roger.... Whitworth. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
