My cousin and I used to swim around the pier when we were young lads, anyone remember the two hulled paddle floats that you could hire from near the pier?

Just watched a few boats come in 2hrs after LW. The telephoto effect makes the gap between Knoll Spit buoy and East Knoll look terrifyingly narrow. Well at least I hope its an illusion!

yep i hate to say it but I am old enough to remember them. had quite a bit of fun on them and some scary moments
