I came out of the Deben just after midnight this morning, using latest information programmed into my plotter. The entrance has now been dredged to a minimum depth of 4 metres at LAT and runs in a direct line from the Haven buoy to the sailing club. A series of four port and starboard buoys (8 in total) have been laid with lights so night time entrance and exit is now easy. The port cans have been labelled with helpful 'keep left' notices as well.

I'll upload the revised chartlet this afternoon.

How's the work going on the Bawdsey/Felixstowe bridge? Shame to put the ferrymen out of business but it will cut journey times to the new RADAR living museum - where you can use WW2 RADAR to track and shoot down drones flown across the Deben entrance.

So that must come with smart tide technology, so we can each have a fair tide tailored to our individual needs.

Im hoping that that there will be an app for that on debenbar.com.

May be alongside the downloadable free adnams vouchers?
