Had our 1st trip out of the Deben this weekend.
The green and red buoys seem to be in about the same position and the channel is just about in a line between them.
It does seem to drift of toward the shore in the 1st 20 / 30 yards from the green heading out.
If you keep the green buoy in transit with the left hand side of the Martello Tower you should be o.k.
We went out at about 1/2 tide with a predicted rise of 2.0m and saw no less that 2,5m depth.
We had about the same on the way in this lunchtime when we kept on the transit
The channel not very wide!!
We didn't touch.
Had a great sail down to Levington Yesterday and a nice meal in the Lightship.
Bit bumpy on the way back today with some surfing for good measure.
