Is the TMBA up for a challenge?
With our Queen feeling the austerity and a little financially challenged she may be searching for some more revenue streams. Perhaps she might consider levying a modest daily charge to moor alongside her immaculately camp-shedded 3/4 mile bankside opposite Datchet; seems such a waste not to let her subjects take advantage of something just crying out to be used.
Nice short stroll to her little farmshop as well.

No, I was acting purely as a private citizen trying it on - didn't really expect to get anywhere, to be honest !

Yes it certainly is. Moorings there, might have at least slowed people down. However as it's not going to happen boaters will continue with their 'Italian tuning' on the reach.
