Hi All,

New to the forum so a big hello.

I am based on the south coast uk and am interested in sailing/crewing
opportunities for all different routes and duration. I am RYA day skipper qualified, RYA vhf
and first aid certificates held.

I run my own business and therefore can be very flexible. Eventually
I am looking at buying a boat so, any boatshare requests also considered.

I am currently looking at spending a couple of years in Australia, just to throw
that into the mix and would welcome opportunities from Aus in addition

Thanks to all for a great site with some very knowledgeable people.

If you get no luck on this forum, suggest you try any sailing school.

They almost always can fit in an extra on their boats, maybe on a YM prep course etc, at often reasonable prices particularly when its a pierhead jump on a Friday/weekend course.

Gets you extra experience in a more formal learning environment than just crewing for others with perhaps similar little experience.

Thanks Alant, Good tip, and I must admit I hadn't thought of that, doing my CS/YM theory stuff at the moment before I do the proper practical but thanks for that idea of crewing on the course whilst not taking part in the
actually formalities, I will approach my school as see what they say.
