Do you find that your class numbers tend to dwindle as the course progresses?

I'd do CD - you can always print the documents out from CD anyway.

I tried to learn from a book but caved in and went for an Adult Education evening course. Made a huge difference. I learnt more in the first couple of hours than I had in years of reading magazines and books.

There was no such thing as interactive CDs in those days ( I was using a computer at work that had a maximmum 16K of memory ! ). That may make a difference.
