lol ours just arrived in the post this morning!! Obviously cant comment as to how good it is as we have yet to start but it... got ours from NMCS.org.uk
Looks fairly well put together, comes with charts, RYA day skipper book and DVD... just need to tear myself away from the forums to start it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I did my day skipper theory with NMCS and I thought it was very good. It is very thorough and seems to go beyond the RYA requirements for day skipper theory (like also covering secondary ports, running fixes). I think this is good. I'd recommend the NMCS course.
Did mine with Centaur Sailing. I found it pretty straight forward with good notes and plenty of questions. They also do a "no support" option if you're feeling confident which is pretty good value.
No connection etc etc etc. http://www.centaursailing.com/
Yes Chichester Maritime are superb. Very very good quality course content (some of it is even animated to make it easier to understand) and excellent tutor response, both quality and speed of reply. They are very highly recommended on the forums over many years.
Would agree with Chichester Maritime recommendations, currently doing one with them now, excellent package and very good feedback from the tutors.
Only drawback - Haven't been on here much as a result /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
