a friend of mine bought one as we both had Co 32s he found it to sail like a dog, he hated it. sold it 9 months later & bought a Nic 35 & is happy as Larry sailed around uk last year with his Son.

Have a feeling that the Dawn class 39 is the old Contessa 38?? Personally think they look good and had a pretty good rep for build quality. Never sailed on one so can't comment on it's ability at sea.

Having just sailed a thoroughbred with awful sails, I've learnt what a difference good canvas makes.
