David Rainsbury\'s champagne - essential?

David Rainsbury's fridge conversion article in April PBO shows a bottle of champagne in the finished fridge. Obviously this is essential cruising kit. What other out of the ordinary item do you consider essential cruising kit?

possible uses of the essential cruising kit champagne

1) entertaining lady sailors (natch)
2) celebrate opening of fridge
3) celebrate launch of dinghy (may require case, owing to repetition)
4) consoling self when PBO don't pay article fee
5) consoling self when PBO do pay article fee
6) any other business

The champagne was to celebrate Kate's launch for our first season together. The more observant will notice two bottles of beer and a bottle of Gordon's gin. Underneath the cheese lurked a dozen mixer cans of tonic. Sliced lemon was in the little blue tub.

The Single Malt NEVER goes in the fridge.
The best thing about the fridge is bacon for breakfast and no more UHT milk.
