That's more than I pay, for duty paid fuel in Spain! The areshole!
How on earth do they get away with it! The barge fills up from tanker, alongside! Might be better to get somebody to deliver if you want a bunch. What about Dart marina, do they not do fuel anymore or are they just as expensive?
What about Brixham?

They have a monopoly in Dartmouth and Salcombe, there is no longer a fuel berth in the marina. Fortunately being raggies we don't need much and took just 43lts of the precious liquid gold to top up before heading for S Brittany, but the rip off rankles nonetheless! We just use Dartmouth as a truck stop en route from Poole as it is convenient to put a bit of west in before heading south, I feel sorry for the locals though and there were plenty filling up this morning, we had to wait in line. The guy is a grumpy so and so too, you would think he could at least smile - not to mention take your lines.

I was assured by the owner that the Salcombe barge is run as a service and is barely covering its costs - eg £25k per yr. survey/insurance - even at the high prices charged /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. He also owns the Dartmouth operation so perhaps the same applies there, though I'd have thought he sells a greater volume in Dartmouth.

I'm the mug that first disclosed there outragious prices on here. Then finished up paying the crooks £168 last week. Not much option as it was.
How much is it I said. How much you want he said. Well depends how much it is dunit, I replied. Well how much you want, he said!! This went on for a bit, till he finally went through his price list, by which time I'd lost the will. You save about 2p if you buy 100000000000 litres or so.
To be fair to the miserable git. He has a sign in his cabin

Whats pissed me off is, I still have loads of the stuff left. I feel disgusted with myself that it's still in the tank.
I'll tell the whole story on mobo when I've recovered!!
