On the CoastGuard Maritime Safety and information broadcasts over the w/e I heard of a "Dangerous Wreck" at a given Lat/Long (sorry, not to hand). It was to the SW of Selsey Bill, on the Southern Edge of the Medmary Bank. Anyone know what this wreck is? Is it recent or something dug up by the currents?

Just interested...

We heard a securité on Thursday evening about a floating object made up of lines and netting in the Looe channel - not what you want to here as you're doing 22knots through there! Slowed down immediately, and kept a sharp eye out but didn't see anything. Even the dolphin didn't appear, much to the disgust of the kids.

Be interested to know if this was related to this wreck.

From your stated location the chart shows one at 50 40.414N; 000 47.762W just off the Pullar Bank with 1.5m over it but if it's the subject of a Nav Warning then it's likely to be something new.

Hi all
returning from my channel islands trip on 21st July we heard a mayday boat sinking off Selsey called Freedom 3 peeps rescued RNLI searching for flotsam maybe something to do with this?

On sunday afternoon the standard MSI broadcast gave two Whiskey Zulus. One was the floating net stuff, the other was the new wreck. The gave the position which I didn't write down but remember commenting that it was further East than Selsey Bill
