We were at Balloch L Lomond a few years ago while a guy was putting his speed boat onto its trailer, when the boat was halfway up the trailer the weight on the back end of trailer lifted back end of car up and because the perking brake was on rear wheels the whole lot rolled into the loch and withen minutes the water was over the dashboard while the electric windows and lights were operating by themselves.
I had a landrover Disco at the time and after he dived under water to fix a rope to his front towing eye I pulled his car, trailer and boat out in a oner.
AA refused to attend as it wasent a breakdown.
Car was eventually written off by his insurers.

Yup, Tome, Brendan, Sgeir got involved. At least Me, Tome and Sgeir got a lifetime ban from Practical Caravan Forae although Sgeir was really upset and attempted reincarnation in various guises;-)

I had to think twice about that, until the link appeared in this thread, and read it, then remembered what I'd posted
