Damaged stantion

The guide on one of my stantions was damaged during liftout, Its a Westerly Pageant does anyone know where i can source the plastic cap from? or maybe someone knows where there is a dead Westley i can salvage one from?

I had a similar problem on my little boat.

I searched high and low and could not find anyone selling them.

So I bought some plastic rod on ebay and turned up a new set on my lathe. I made a whole new set so they all matched, and the new ones are stronger than the originals.

Got some from here for our Old Seadog a year or two back.

I reasoned that if one has broken, then another could fail at an inopportune moment, so I made a new hole near the top of each stanchion tube and smoothed off the plastic plugs.

This is my plan if i cant get a replacement which looks very likely.
