Dale pontoon status - fresh water tap??

We're anchored upriver of Milford Haven at the moment and need fresh water. Just spoken to the restaurant which answers when you phone the Dale Yacht Club number. They say the shore pontoon no longer has fresh water!

1. Is this the case?

2. Is there anywhere else in the area with fresh water supplies, Rudders maybe?

3. Regarding the pontoon outside Milford Haven lock, at what state of tide can a vessel with 1.7m draft safety moor up to do some shopping.

As for depths on the mackerel stage outside milford, best to call the marina on ch14 'pierhead'
Be advised that the seaward gate at milford is u/s so only the big lock on a reduced timetable

Thansk. Just locked in. Been told that by radioing in first you can use the freeflow at Milford Haven Lock to freely access the water by the fuel pontoon.

Hard work but there is an outside tap on the public toilets at Dale. We have taken the odd 10 gallons from there. A trolley would help!
