DAF 575 engines

Thinking of buying a dutch boat with a daf 575- they seem to be common in Holland/germany: are they called something else here, or are there just not many of them - any sources in UK for service items?

Daf is a dutch company as far as I know. They used to make cars at one time, but I seem to recall that the sold that bit of the company to Volvo. They also had some tie-up with Leyland for trucks & buses, but I don't know anything about a marine side of the company. Sorry.
