Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a new stereo for the boat. I'd like a DAB that has a USB playback feature (not just USB charging). Roberts do a standalone radio that looks perfect, the BluTune T2 (https://www.robertsradio.com/uk/products/radio/dab/blutune-t2) but I'd prefer a panel-mounted car stereo type unit. A Google search returns quite a few possibles, but can anyone suggest a good manufacturer for boating installations, or even better an exact model?

Thanks in advance!

Got a non-DAB variant of Kenwood KMR-M505DAB in the boat. Works superbly.

I use mine mainly with Spotify / Netflix / Amazon Prime Video or Mobile phone music over BT. They sell it as a marine radio which simply means the circuit boards are coated with conformal coating to resist moisture.

You can also set the display colour so it matches the other items in a panel. (Up to a point ;) )

It's top right in this pic ....

PS: It is in no way waterproof so is unsuitable for mounting in the cockpit.
