DAB frequencies are approximately double that of FM frequencies, so a resonant aerial is likely to be about 1/2 the length of FM ones. The cable between the radio and the aerial must be co-ax, of the correct impedance of 50 or 75 ohm and to a dedicated DAB aerial. I am currently using panasonic DAB radio, it works just fine connected to a normal flexible car radio aerial mounted on the roof of the boat.
