D3 oil pressure sensor

Asking on behalf of a guy in the club...

Regal fitted with an early D3. The display is showing 0 PSI for oil pressure (and shouting at him, i've been told) - most likely to be the pressure sensor?

He'll be having someone look at it, but he asked if I knew where the pressure sensor is.

You could very probably figure this one out from the exploded diagrams at marinepartseurope.com.

There is no oil pressure sender (to give an output for a gauge) on this engine.
There is an oil pressure switch which operates an oil pressure light. This switch (from memory) is on the left side of the block.

The info I received was all 2nd hand info.

So, is there no oil pressure gauge?

The 2nd hand info stated that when they toggled through the display, oil pressure came up as 0?
