D2-55 oil filter equivalents

Anyone know an equivalent for the Volvo Penta diesel D2-55 oil filter. The VP part number is 3581621.

Stu, you're the expert, does the Md2030 use the same oil filter as the D2-55?

Bunny is correct. The MD20x0 do use the same filter as the D2-55.

I found that these aftermarket filters are physically much smaller than the Volvo original- both in length and diameter.

Is there one the same size as the Volvo filter or, if not, does that matter.
