Düsseldorf / change in direction. New boat.

Wow! Quite a change in genre indeed!

Fantastic looking machine, It'll be fantastic fun with the pair of those growling monsters on the back :encouragement:.

Many congratulations!

Fair enough, as long as you will not tell us next that you are busy with some Prime Minister... :D :p
Looking forward to see more! :encouragement:

I think that today Capital R is negotiating Brexit for us, tommorow he's negotiating a settlement in the Palestinian dispute and on Saturday he's doing world peace

And on Sunday he's preparing Mars for human inhabitation.

But back to the new boat, I bet it will be an exciting ride with those lumps on the back. I wish the op all the best and lots of fun.

Congrats with your new boat !

I am looking forward to hear your comments on high seas as the boat seems to have quite slim profile. I believe that it is quite light so it stays on top of waves all the time, almost like a RIB.

I will report back on all of that in around 6 weeks time. Jack Haines has driven the T Top version in dodgy weather and he said it was amazing in dodgy conditions. The bow is very " yacht" ish and does slice through the water. It won motor boat of the year 2017 and while I am a bit of a cynic when it comes to awards it must count for something. But I promise to report back in April

I think this boat was one of the fastest and most interesting entries to the market in the recent years. I really look forward for a fully independent party review, such as yourself.

OK, I hadn't seen it at the photo. Aft side you can manage with the outboards I believe.

Yes that should be fine, two engines so not worried about that, but if someone wanted a stern thruster fitted would be a doddle. Low windage on this boat should help too that will make a nice change from our previous boats.

Here is my new boat a week ago. It's now under going figment of additional extras. Even things such as the VHF aerial are in black which is weird when everything I have ever bought for a boat has been white or blue!

Now that is one cool looking boat! I love the practical lines.....reverse sheer windscreen etc. and the grey/black colour scheme looks very stylish. You might get one or two skippers expecting to be boarded when they see you coming though! :) :) :)

Any idea what the fuel burn will be with the outboards?
