Cutting Volvo Penta Keys

Afternoon all,

Would like to get a full spare set of keys for our Sealine sorted, it's a D4 setup and I'm missing one of the spare keys.

Any idea where I can get one cut or replaced? Tried my local Timpsons but they weren't sure what to do.

Timpsons do have those Silica blanks as they cut some engine keys for me a couple of years ago. Note that mine were copied and cut from a non-Volvo key. I don't know if they would be able to copy one of the original float keys.

I take it your key doesn't have the little serial number tag on it still?

One does, the other doesn't, presume then from what you're saying that's going to be a problem?

On my SC35 the keys are interchangeable port to starboard.

Yep. On my D6’s the keys swap over.

Unfortunately not here, looks like someone's replaced one of our barrels...
