Update re. entry at Dunkerque :
An email in french to the Dunkerque Marina using their web email form and my wife's good french as to how to contact PAF on arrival has produced no reply.
However by telephone this morning to the Port du Grande Large (marina) I am advised that the PAF will visit the boat in the marina - 'they make their own checks ' so as previously the marina doesn't want to know or the PAF remain inscrutable.
If they don't appear it will be tempting to move on with the tide earlyish next morning and enter at Ostende using their procedure, although that would beg the question about exiting on the return .
So I will take a selection of old and new prefilled Schengen forms ,as previously, plus the bus timetables ,and if the wind takes me North and East rather than West I will advise how things go at the end of May.
