This is your last chance to vote for the Outstanding Customer Service award sponsored by Garmin Europe Ltd. The current front-runners in alphabetical order are:

Essex Boatyards
Seabridge Marine
Sealine South Coast
Val Wyatt Marine
Osmotech UK

If you would like to add your comments about any of our current leaders or nominate a different company please email the name of the business and an explanation as to why you think they should win the award to ybw.com@ipcmedia.com

The voting will be closed at 14:00 Monday 14 December

How does it work Dan ?

Who chooses which nominations get through to the voting ?

Asking as I nominated a company that doesnt appear on your list.

Very impressed with osmotech, every thing they have done for us actually works, something that sadly we are unaccustomed to. Will elaborate more when we get our new absolute 41 straight & we have done a couple of hours, very impressed with the boat & service so far.:)

It is judged partly on the number of entries and partly on the quality of the supporting evidence supplied by the people who nominate them. The judges review the nominations and take a view on how impressive the service provided appears to be. In other words if you tell us that a mail order chandlery delivered your goods on time that's all well and good but we don't think this should rank equally with a company that goes above and beyond the call of duty to track down an out of production part then pop round on their way home from work to fit it to your boat that evening at no extra cost so that you can leave for your Summer holiday on the early tide as planned.

If you still think the company you voted for is more worthy than some of these tell us why and see if anyone else you know has a similar story of good service from them. This isn't the final shortlist, it's simply the current leading contenders. It's not too late to change the outcome.

Hope this helps

Hugo

My experience of EBY is great at selling you a boat but pretty poor in trying to get the problems sorted on a new boat from last Feb, finally sorted in November.
