I am planning to replace my switch panel this winter but want a new one that will fit the existing hole but also have space on it for me to put in a Sterling Power battery panel. Does anyone know of a supplier who makes custom panels but does not charge the earth?

It's not that difficult to kake your own. RS do the punches for removing the correct shaped hole for switches and breakers. They also sell the sheet material from which the panels are made, or you can buy blank ones from several suppliers. Otherwise it's all hand work, no machinery required, just careful measurement and patience.

As said above not too difficult to make your own - You may be able to get a sign manufacturer to make one up in Traffolyte (usually black plastic with a white layer underneath that is etched away for the legends).
I had one by a local company in Widnes for 12 Cicuit Breakers, a bilge pump switch and rotary switch for the Nav lights for £35 including legends and punching out the correct size holes. Just make sure you can support the panel from behind or get one of the heavier grades of Traffolyte

RS can supply suitable CBs and other parts
