I've never been a fan of pram style hoods on boats, and the split hood system (either side of the radar arch) on my last Birchwood was very conveniant and useable.
The Rinker has a stainless tube arch, so still relies on a separate pram hood system for the camper cover. All seems a bit messy to me.
I can envisage adding a S39 (or is it S41) style mini hard top to the underside of the tubular arch, to enable a split custom built cover system to be employed.
(thought I'd better post this one whilst tcm seems to be off the scene 'cos the ridicule would be unbearable, and we'd start talking about cardboard boxes, licking roads, and living in lakes again!)
Now we've all seen some horror stories of custom built hard tops, but I'm sure a tasteful well designed neat moulding would look the part.
I've never delved into custom fibreglass products before. Is my idea feasible, or would I best consider an Aluminium fabrication?
