Curtain material

Having made a new set of curtains for the saloon, they are now covered with black spots after only 12 months! Is there any material which will inhibit the growth of mould? Is there anything I can treat material with to prevent mould?

Well I think the real problem to be tackled is the lack of ventilation. That's why the moulds there and even if you get some clever fabric (which incidently I can't help you with) the lack of ventilation will still be present and will manifest itself in other ways.
