Have a 4KVA Cummins/Onan Generator installed that is really in need of a service.
The previous owner left a set of replacement parts (impeller, oil & fuel filters) so I have the relevant numbers, but I'll need to replace them.
Any suggestions as to the best value / cheapest source ??

Where are you? We have a boat owner in the marina (Titchmarsh, NE Essex, UK) who has a factory locally which builds generators using Cummins & Cats. Don't see him that often but will ask when I next do. (he might not do those generators but has been a good source of Cummins information/supplies).

It has been said on here that the Onan sea water impeller can be replaced with a Jabsco Neoprene one.
A lot cheaper and lasts a long long long time.
Thats what I use on my 17Kw Onan.
But you had better check that is is compatible.
Just check that yours uses the Sherwood 10615 Impeller.
I think that pump is pretty standard.
Here is a link to one 18948-0001B JABSCO IMPELLER

I always get my filters from Inline Filters - see here Inline Filters - UK's leading Filter Specialists
Just search for the Onan part number in their search on the above page.

My Inline Filters Onan compatible filter is this one:-
https://inlinefilters.co.uk/Filters-Lube/SpinOn/Round/FIN-FL70554/

Much cheaper than the manufacturers spares.

EDIT
Do the same for your engine filters (oil and breathers etc - Inline sell lots of filters)
They also supply Separ compatible diesel filters

Adding to Hurricanes post if you require genuine parts then Sea Power Marine are official Onan/ Cummings dealers, good prompt service.
