Just an update on my engine saga. Engine went back in last year, Cummmins finally "found" as used exhaust elbow that they said that they had never had. Engine runs as sweet as a nut at the moment after the VM Specialist rebuilt it. Repeated emails to Cummins in Swanwick asking for results on the offer of assistance have yealded nothing. I guess I am going to have to resort to my solicitor ...

I have found CMD incredibly helpful with a generous attitude.
You have had a serious issue with an engine you dont really know the history of, part of me can understand their reluctance to get involved, did you establish what had caused the problem and kept the bits ?
