Cummins aftercooler cores

Bit of a long shot as I know it's primarily Volvo on here, but has anyone used replacement aftercooler cores from China? I'm talking Alibaba sourced ones? Just wondering how they stack up as they appear to give a good saving over the Cummins \ serck one. Google isn't offering any opinions that I can find...

Considering the damage that can be done I wouold stick with a genuine one, I would always be worrying about when it will fail.

Have you asked sbmar.com if they can supply you the part?

They can supply the part but it's around 2000+AUD Chinese ones (probably from the same factory) are about 500 so big difference.

I see your point. Are you sure that the originals are made in China? It’s hard not to be tempted. I assume you’ve asked
