My pet hate on here is vague, cryptic subject titles which give away nothing as to the content of the posting so you have to waste time on a sometimes SLOW forum opening up stuff which you then find you have absolutely no interest in. Yes guys I know its fun to see who can get the most responses but some of us have to work and we havent got time to open everything up to see what its about!. Am I alone in this grumpy old man moment or do others agree?

Fantastic pics of naked women in this post!

Yeah, I agree. It's bloody irritating

I completely agree. Actually it doesn't bother me, but I just rarely open threads with cryptic titles, and i think it reduces footfall for the original poster so he/she is less likely to get responses or the problem solved. I think the post title should indicate clearly what the subject is, esp on this sloooow forum.

People do it on For Sale section of this forum and write headings like "things to sell" or suchlike!

But ultimately it's up to the poster. Live and let live. Just understand that a specific question might not get the answer/help wanted if the post title doesn't attract the relevant readers.

you're right I shouldn't open them - but I am scared I might be missing something!
I don't think I'm alone in that - we are are a naturally curious species, and I think it INCREASES traffic to a posting rather than decreases - I think thats why people do it.
