Cruising with pet

We are intending to take our puppy along for a cruise to Channel Islands and ?Brittany this summer.
Anyone any advice on rules & regs etc?
Also any 'pets welcome' tips would be appreciated

I think you willbe disappointed, even with a pet passport the pup will need to travel on a recognised carrier, ie a ferry, and be de-flead and trested for rabies no more than 24 hours before entering another country. Not sure about the CI's but I did look up on one of their web sites a few months ago, do a search for CI + pet passport.

I also have a pup with the same intentions, thort all would be OK, but seems I was wrong!

are you planning to bring the dog back into the uk afterwards? if so, think long and hard. the regulations are very tricky and you'll need to bring it back on a ferry.
