Anyone an idea on what is the cruising speed for maximum efficiency on a merry fisher925 powered by a single volvo 260 horse d4 diesel engine? Also where is the fuse box!!!!Thanks in advance.

On a Merry Fisher 805 the fuse panel is behind a wooden panel above the sink in the heads, maybe the same for you ?

lol Chris, i only know about 805's. Being a nosey so-and-so i've pulled mine apart to see how it works

Anyway sundancer9000 as to cruising efficiently
Yer D4 will sit the boat luurrvely at 16 to 18 kts.

I tried one a couple of weeks ago.
2 years old
The peeps had just bought it
I took it home for them
It was happy all day long (30 miles) at those kinda speeds
It was a little bit choppy
Even through a 1.1/2 metre chop.

Actually it liked that speed through the chop
Slower, like 8kts, She kinda banged abit and was very 'wet'

Oh
We had 6 adults onboard too
And a load of 'gear'

The fusebox on my 925 is behind the helm, accessed by removing a panel in the fishing tackle store/single cabin.
