You're right of course, but then what country doesn't disappoint its citizens and residents? For boaters, though, the Greek Islands are hard to beat.

you are also of course right, but let's just leave that in that GR, Turkiye and UK seems to disappoint their citizens way more than say Norway, Finland, etc. Mind, I'm 100X happier in the Aegean than freezing my b@lls off in Norway although peak summer July-August has increasingly become unlivable and we are trying to visit cooler places at that period.
