help needed does anybody know the luff length of a chute for a snapdragon 747 (forestay 30.6 ft) i have aquired one but it is a bit of a deck sweeper and overpowerfull!

Give Seateach a bell, if you give 'em your dimensions they will be able to advise on what you need.

Give any major sailmaker a call.. they usually keep a database of common boats.
I know crusader have an extensive database with all the measurements on it - my boat wasnt on it though!!
I have just had a suit of sails made by Kemp. They were the best quote of most sailmakers and Rob Kemp gave excellent support throughout. He will work out the figure for you if you give him a bell. You may need some more measurements though if the boat isnt on the database.
Both the above have their measurement forms on their website telling you about Is and Js etc.. cant remember which is needed for a cruising chute though..
