Cruising Chutes and Arch pods

We have just purchased a Legend 36 (Cento!) and have now sailed her a few times etc so beginning to think of "improvements" to her.

1.Can anyone tell me where, or who supplies cruising chutes for the Legend 36

2. We have seen a Legend 38 in Brighton with a GRP Pod under the traveller arch, which held two speakers and a light. Where can we get one of those?

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

I can recommend Crusader sails for the Cruising chute, like mine on our SO35.

About 850-900 quid, tri radial.

Cant tell you about the speaker/light pod, try phoning the Legend dealer!

Good pics Full circle, but what arrangement have you got at the bow, anything more than a tack line ? I have a strop with a block belayed to a cleat under the bow roller and a tack line thru the block back to the cock pit, I hate it and am constantly trying to think of some better arrangment. Its always seems to get caught around anchor - nav light pulpit. I really cant run to a bow sprit arrangement at the mo. Any help please.

Dear Mr Delf,
you may probably be aware that Gentleman Cruisers do not beat to Windward. To distinguish myself from the majority of Racing Scoundrels in our area, and to ensure that I have one hand for the boat, and one for the Pimms, I deem it correct behaviour to have just the 836SqFt of sail showing at once.
In our area, we have a lot of dead downwind sailing, and the roll that can set in with the confounded main can upset the calm of the afternoon. Couldn't possibly be seen fighting the machine, must stay harmonious. A trifle like a duck on water.Calm above etc...

I have a snap shackle turning block on the bow roller which carries the tack line outside of the pulpit. The top of the turning block has a becket which has shock cord attached, leading to the pulpit bar, so the turning block is held upright even when not under load. This keeps it clear of the anchor.
This winters job will include an arrangement similar to the image below from a Malbec240 (go buy one, theyre great emwmarine.com)

I will include a tack line lead eye at the aft end, and run it to a turning block at the front end, retaining the shock cord link. I have priced the bits, including a retrieved broken spinnaker pole at under 50 quid.
