Memories

just seen your section on Boston Marina...had a very relaxing couple of days there on the MBM round Britain Grand Tour in 1999. Please pass on my best to anyone there who still remembers us -- I certainly still remember squeezing under the bridges with a shaving of gelcoat to spare!

Nice site. Especially like the greyscale in the title and navigation. The home page looks a bit blank in the middle so suggest a "Welcome to my bla bla bla...." Also the "Home" on the LHS navigator isn't linked to anything. You have a home link at the top ,,,,don't need both.

Nice, but you might want to take a look at the Welcome page punctuation and use or non-use of capital letters.
Presumably it's the same Cruisers International as here in the US?

it is the same company but these was built in the uk

the welcome page isent set properly yet im still trying to get the lay out right

It was a licenced copy of a boat built by Cruisers, Inc in the US; Cruisers, Inc went out of business early in the 1990s and was then revived as Cruisers Yachts. See <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.cruisersyachts.com/about/history.htm>http://www.cruisersyachts.com/about/history.htm</A>

UK license holder Cruisers International was supposed not to be connected to Cruisers, Inc but parts purchasing was carried out by the US company and there were other connections too. UK-built Holiday 224 was a genuine goodie, but quite a large part of the only other boat built over here, the 267, had hull faults (it's not a good idea to take a hull stringer up to a bulkhead and start it in a different place on the other side) and when the first one sank in Lyme Bay due to structural failure the UK company sank with it. Although the fault was caused by local company and wasn't present on US-built examples Cruisers, Inc was 'persuaded' to chip in with some compensation, which got most (but not all) faulty 267s rebuilt.
